The Great Debate

All of us have our own opinions on which book format is best.

So I ask this question to everyone. Ebook, paperback, or hardcover? Which do you prefer?

Personally, I love reading on my Kindle. It's so easy and portable and I can switch books instantly no matter where I am. But, for those unforgettable books I like to have the hardcover version as well.

  2. I love my Nook, but I still love my hard copies of books as well. So I can't choose, I just like to read :)

  3. Hard copies all the way! That said, I don't actually have an ereader, but I love touching, feeling, smelling, flicking through books - I can't bear to lose that.

  4. S.B.- I love my kindle, makes my life so much easier.

Lauren- It's a hard choice, I know!!! Books in any format are scrumptious!!

Belle- i agree feeling the book, skimming chapters, and smelling the pages is what keeps me buying hardcovers as well as on my kindle! A lot of the time I buy 2 books!

  5. No ebooks for me, so either paperbacks or hardbound. I'm not really picky when it comes to those two choices; but to read with, probably paperback since they're easier to hold up and to bring too. Hardbound maybe for collection-purposes.

  6. E-books are perfect for me! They're easy to take with you when travelling longer trips and you don't have to choose books either, but you can take the entire library with you. Then, since I'm in Sweden and English books are more expensive, I also get them cheaper as e-books. Plus I can get them whenever I want and wherever I am, without having to wait around 2 weeks to get them! Oh, and when you're tired, it's so easy to just up the font-size and spacing a bit. I LOVE it!

Of course I miss holding and smelling my paperbacks too, but I can still read them. I just prefer my Kindles. Plus, the ones I adore, I'll still buy to put in my bookshelf! Although, it really doesn't need much more books! Haha, thankfully the Kindle saves room too. :)
