Hush, Hush, A Must Read Series [2]

Yesterday I finished Silence (Hush, Hush #3) by Becca Fitzpatrick, full review soon. It's a wonderful series that is a must read if you haven't already checked it out!! I recommend it to fans of Lauren Kate's Fallen Series or any fans of fallen angels and paranormal romance :)
For Nora Grey, romance was not part of the plan. She's never been particularly attracted to the boys at her school, no matter how much her best friend, Vee, pushes them at her...until Patch comes along. With his easy smile and eyes that seem to see inside her, Nora is drawn to him against her better judgment, but after a series of terrifying encounters, Nora's not sure whom to trust. Patch seems to be everywhere she is, and to know more about her than her closest friends. She can't decide whether she should fall into his arms or run and hide. And when she tries to seek some answers, she finds herself near a truth that is far more unsettling than anything Patch makes her feel. For Nora is right in the middle of an ancient battle between the immortal and those that have fallen - and when it comes to choosing sides, the wrong choice will cost her life.

Hush, Hush (book 1) ★★★★★ I could not put this book down! A+ for Becca Fitzpatrick. I really enjoyed the characters and I felt throughout the book that I knew what was going on and it was predictable but then everything would change. It kept me on my toes and I read in it less than a day.
Nora Grey's life is still far from perfect. Surviving an attempt on her life wasn't pleasant, but at least she got a guardian angel out of it: a mysterious, magnetic, gorgeous guardian angel. But, despite his role in her life, Patch has been acting anything but angelic. He's more elusive than ever and even worse, he's started spending time with Nora's arch-enemy, Marcie Millar. Nora would have hardly noticed Scott Parnell, an old family friend who has moved back to town, if Patch hadnt been acting so distant. Even with Scott's totally infuriating attitude Nora finds herself drawn to him - despite her lingering feeling that he's hiding something. Haunted by images of her murdered father, and questioning whether her nephilim bloodline has anything to do with his death, Nora puts herself increasingly in dangerous situations as she desperately searches for answers. But maybe some things are better left buried, because the truth could destroy everything - and everyone - she trusts.
Crescendo (book 2) ★★★★★ Nothing could have prepared me for this book. It has all the mystery, suspense, and drama from Hush, Hush and then some. Nora has broken Patch's heart and he has returned the favor, with the one person she despises most in the world. Having an ex-boyfriend guardian angel proves to be too much for this accident prone girl, and she asks him to leave her alone. Scotty the potty, or as Vee refers to him as Scotty the Hottie, has come back to town and is trying to win Nora over. But what does he really want? What is he hiding? And who is he? I am an advocate for all things Angel, and this book is definitely no exception. If I could give it 20 stars I would!
The noise between Patch and Nora is gone. They've overcome the secrets riddled in Patch's dark past...bridged two irreconcilable worlds...faced heart-wrenching tests of betrayal, loyalty and trust...and all for a love that will transcend the boundary between heaven and earth. Armed with nothing but their absolute faith in one another, Patch and Nora enter a desperate fight to stop a villain who holds the power to shatter everything they've worked for—and their love—forever.

Silence (book 3) ★★★★☆ Even though I felt it started off slow, what an awesome book! Can't wait for more :)

And look for the fourth book in the series coming October 2012...

What series do you think is a must read?
