What girl doesn't want to be surrounded by gorgeous jocks day in and day out? Jordan Woods isn't just surrounded by hot guys, though-she leads them as the captain and quarterback of her high school football team. They all see her as one of the guys and that's just fine. As long as she gets her athletic scholarship to a powerhouse university.
But everything she's ever worked for is threatened when Ty Greeen moves to her school. Not only is he an amazing QB, but he's also amazingly hot. And for the first time, Jordan's feeling vulnerable. Can she keep her head in the game while her heart's on the line?
This book is an adorable love story, one of the least expected kind. I went into it wanting a cute high school fling, but what I got was deep on every emotional level. Not only is it an incredible romance but my favorite element are the family dynamics, roles the family members play in the story, and relationship they share. There's all that and some extremely comedic parts!

What makes it a unique read: It features a ton of football, which is fun; and a tom girl that is much like I was in high school. Jordan is one of the guys, she holds her own and is the team captain. She's pretty much the human form of awesome.

My favorite character is Sam Henry usually just goes by Henry, he's the best friend that every girl wants.

Favorite part of the book: When Henry has a baby ;)
"Why Jordan, you didn't tell me I was going to be a grandmother," Mom says, flashing a smile at Henry.
"I didn't know either," I say. "Henry hid the pregnancy from me. Do you mind watching that creepy thing during practice, Mom?"
Henry grabs his chest. "That creepy thing is our son, Woods."
Who should read this book? Fans of Sarah Dessen, Deb Caletti, Jennifer Echols, John Green, Tammara Webber, and Stephanie Perkins.
