In Maggie Stiefvater's SHIVER, Grace and Sam found each other. In LINGER, they fought to be together. Now, in FOREVER, the stakes are even higher than before. Wolves are being hunted. Lives are being threatened. And love is harder and harder to hold on to as death comes closing in.

I was going to wait but I want to do this now while it's so fresh in my head.

The Wolves of Mercy Falls has been one of those series' that I read book one and needed book two immediately. It's the type of series you want to tell everyone you know to read because you fell in love with the story or characters or both and you just know everyone else will too. It's the kind of series that keeps you up for nights thinking about the emotions you're feeling after reading it.

This isn't going to be a review as much as an advertisement for everyone out there to read these phenomenal books by the incredibly talented Maggie Stiefvater. It's hard to review the last book in a series when you're not sure if the readers have read book one or two. So just read Shiver, then Linger, and you will HAVE to read Forever...

The writing is phenomenal and poetic, as was expected. I love how we get everyone's voices as Maggie switches narrators, even though sometimes it put me on end to wait to see what was happening with Sam and Grace so that we could see what was going on with Cole or Isabel (even though they rock too). This book is about everyone. Everyone coming together, even the characters we want kept out. It's just amazing.

If this tells you anything I was laughing, crying, couldn't stop grinning, and wiping endless tears when I read the last words. It's sad to say good bye to Mercy Falls, but I can always revisit this amazing place.

the cold. Grace has spent years watching the wolves in the woods behind her house. One yellow-eyed wolf—her wolf—watches back. He feels deeply familiar to her, but she doesn't know why. the heat. Sam has lived two lives. As a wolf, he keeps the silent company of the girl he loves. And then, for a short time each year, he is human, never daring to talk to Grace...until now. the shiver. For Grace and Sam, love has always been kept at a distance. But once it's spoken, it cannot be denied. Sam must fight to stay human—and Grace must fight to keep him—even if it means taking on the scars of the past, the fragility of the present, and the impossibility of the future.

In Maggie Stiefvater's Shiver, Grace and Sam found each other. Now, in Linger, they must fight to be together. For Grace, this means defying her parents and keeping a very dangerous secret about her own well-being. For Sam, this means grappling with his werewolf past . . . and figuring out a way to survive into the future. Add into the mix a new wolf named Cole, whose own past has the potential to destroy the whole pack. And Isabelle, who already lost her brother to the wolves . . . and is nonetheless drawn to Cole.

Don't you just love the covers? I just think they are simply beautiful.
